RANTING:
have been working all day long since the beginning of the year
didnt even have time to meet up with friends
sometimes i do feel that i've neglect them
but yet at times, i feel that they no longer need my accompany, simply because they'll always have others around them who are better companion than i do.
so with that reason constantly bugging my mind, i buried myself with work,
or else i'll feel so empty, so lonely, so lifeless

working at taka for laurent bernard chocolatier, and jean philippe darcis at marina bay sands
at taka, this job has indeed given me a lot of exposure
never would i thought that i could actually go into conversation with people so easily and comfortably
the store beside mine, originally called bistrotea, but now blueribbon,
there's 3 of them, elvina, scarlott and robin
they're all sixteen, seventeen this year, whom have just gotten their O'levels results
once you start chatting with people,
it's simply natural for them to ask you this question
"so what are you doing now? poly? jc? waiting for O's?"
my answer would definitely be "neither of the above".
i've never thought that the answer above, would actually hurt me so much
it's like, you can simply see from their human reaction,
"ohh...okay, so what are u doing now?"
of course i told them the very fact that i'm in a baking school
they "felt" that it was very cool.
but i can just feel that, the first thing that came into their mind was, I'm a dropout. I'm from ITE.
i dont mean that they arent nice people, but i'm just trying to say that all normal human are simply just so realistic
can't they just stop looking merely from the surface, but within it?
i cant help feeling upset too, though i genuinely love what i'm doing now
i cant help feeling leftout when my friends around me talk about jc stuffs, like GP, PW, maths,econs, etc
i couldnt understand a single shit
most of the times, i just have to pull on a masquerade and smile, dont I?
life has been really tough on me recently,
i guess i'm suffering from split personality now.
but seriously, who knows?who cares?
the very answer is: NO ONE BOTHERS.

The new year has begun, it's definitely high time for me to set my new year resolutions...
1. to bless all my loved ones to stay healthy and happy
2. to have an exercise regime
3. to venture and experiment with new recipes
4. to spend more time with my loved ones
5. to tidy my "awesome" kitchen
6. learn to bear with hardship and simply just suck it up
7. deal with "human" relationship, especially at work
8. open and shut my "crazy" mouth at the right moment
9. improve my baking skills, my decorating skills
10. to save 5k by the end of this year
These are probably my top 10 new year resolutions for now.

freaking delicious

i've finally tried the warm chocolate cake from Bakerzin
i think they overbaked the cake though
the fudge isnt as flowy as it's supposed to be
but overall, the cake is still rich and fudgy
just a little overbaked
and they dont have proper serving spoons meant for cakes
*disappointing*

mummy ordered german sausage platter with mushrooms and potato
and served with a side of dijon mustard
the mushroom and potato are sauteed just right
with a dash of salt and pepper
the sausages cant go wrong when they are freshly grilled with some condiments
like a little garlic and oil on the hot pan
yum yum.

today, woke up slightly later than usual
more specifically, i was woken up by vanessa!
haha, but it was okay...
8am morning call to decide where we are meeting today
as usual
west coast plaza! one of my fav hide-outs
went to starbucks
while vanessa was doing her bio stuffs,
i was watching korean drama
vanessa was supposed to bring her earphones for me, but
oh well, she has simply forgotten to do so
her reason was being too caught-up with thinking about cream-coloured stockings for her tortuorous council camp
haha...poor girl
decided to make a trip to Popular to get myself a pair of earphones anyway
1o bucks....i supposed it isnt too expensive right?
it's lime green in colour!
while being engrossed in my drama,
an european family came into starbucks too...
their kids are super cute...
eating yogurt with a messy mouth...hehe!
the little inquisitive boy,
came round to our table, trying to make out what I am doing
i bet he's pretty puzzled by what I'm doing
which is simply just watching drama!

went to fish and co to have a late lunch
both of us had the exact same meal(:

out of IB, into BITC(baking industry training centre)
on thurs, i was browsing through the newspaper
while flipping through the classified section,
hoping to find a suitable part-time job,
i saw the ad on BITC's open house!
do you know how excited i was?
i'm like, omg! yes! thank god!
went to their open house at Prima immediately the next day with my aunt
they had a 50% discount for their sch fees if you were to register during their open house
50% off! THAT'S ALOT OF MONEY
of course i grabbed for the chance!
thankfully my BELOVED MUM is supportive of my decision
seriously, without my mum,
all these wouldnt have been possible
love you mum...
after filling up the application form, the 200 bucks of deposit,
the surge of motivation i felt was AWESOME!!!
it has been a long long time i feel so so motivated once again.
it feels so good.

yesterday, i decided to go out in the afternoon...
after going down to town and vivo for repeated times,
i chose to explore clarke quay....
went to the bus stop, i saw bus 143
i was like: "yeah! i can take this direct bus!"
so....i boarded the bus...
but i couldnt find my wallet.
gosh, i realised i could have left in on my bed!
how stupid of me to do that...
so embarrassing...
the scenario on the bus:
driver : [looking at me, trying to say 'please tap yr card']
me: busy digging my wallet out of the bag
driver : [smiling very politely, starting to drive]
me: "erm...i think i had misplaced my wallet..."
and i alighted the bus at the next busstop...
rushed home, praying that my wallet is still at home
thank goodness, it's still lying on my bed peacefully...
so went out of my house again, and finally reached clarke quay safe and sound without any mishap...
went to central market....found new bars!!! yeah!!
didnt expect the supermarket here to sell bars that i cant find in cold storage!
made my way to liang court...
i love meidi-ya supermart
it's super duper huge and lovely to shop in...
bought more bars...haha...
read some food bloggers' blog...
they recommended the cakes sold here...
i decided to treat myself and indulge in just a slice of cake...
it's from tampopo, their signature scoop cake
although there's lot's of cream, the sponge cake is light and fluffy...
the fruits were fresh, the entire combination was fabulous...
yum yum!
and it's time to head back home again!

have a sudden urge to blog...

ytd, i decided to have a swim again.

it has been a long long time since i regained my passion for swimming.

i do love swimming afterall....(:

as i approach the swimming complex, the sky looks threatening with dark clouds

i was praying to god not to rain please

because i truly do not wish to waste the 50cents entrance fee and 40cents locker fee...haha

but nonetheless, my wish isnt heard upon...

however, swimming in the rain is so so COOL!!!

the splashes on yr head when u pop yr head out of water to breathe

the blur vision formed on yr goggles made me feel like i'm living in my own world, dont have to bother others' views or feeling etc.

and because it was raining,

the pool was empty...

i was swimming alone in the swimming complex.

i feel like i had owned this huge pool....wow...

then here comes a little girl with the accompany of her mum

she's having a swim test tmr, taking a chance to practice

looking at her, it simply reminds me of my past

learning to swim, taking tests with my cousins

i do miss those days

whereby life is so carefree, dont even have constant worries abt studies or whatsoever

i dun even know why nowadays, life seems so meaningless

it's so boring,

i feel i've totally bored those friends around me too...

i feel sorry for them, having to entertain this super uninteresting friend of theirs

talking abt this, i still have tonnes of hw that is not completed

and i'm still not doing them

i do hope i can find the same lifestyle i had in the past

todae, more than half the class went to the changi leadership camp
including jiaen and jinghui.
without them in sch, life seems to be missing something....
their laughter, their fun, their presence etc.
just feel damn weird....

at first, i thought i would be bored to death,
but surprisingly, it wasn't
before recess,
we played UNO, snap, 'big fish, small fish', and the calling of names....
we had a great time...but not the whole class played
after recess, we are supposed to have the home economic session,
but it was cancelled...
we asked janny's clique to join us in the game
and we played murderer....
maybe the group was too big,
or they are still not too familiar with the game,
it wasnt very successful...
then we played a game that weinan suggested...
not very good too(:
we decided to play music chairs...
inviting the whole class to join...
parry was not very nice...
well, maybe shld say that i hav phobia of him,

we wanted to have a 'clique' gathering before we are separated....

and decided to settle down to chat and eat.
we went to jack's place...

around 3 plus, yinkar and jiaen went home
for me, didnt feel like goin home so early, went to jinghui's hse to disturb her....hehe
decided to help her pack her cupboard....

i knew that this had been a wonderful year...
and particularly this year,
i had walked through a difficult path with MY FRIENDS,
whom i'm very glad to meet.
well, though the EOYs wouldn't the result that i wanted,
but i still cant change a reality.
instead, i should just accept it without a choice.

well, there are some words i would really wish to dedicate to some of my beloved pals:
yinkar : thanks for all the encouragements and stuffs that u bring along my life throughout these two years. for sure, i gonna miss u loads,and would definitely remember u forever(: without u, there wouldn't be a regina now...however, u must stay cheerful and lively(:
jinghui : u have been my best pal since sec 1. whether u regard me as one or not, i will still treat u as one. u have gone through thick and thin with me, especially for this year. i really appreciate your help, but utimately, i tend to push away help from my closer ones....i'm very sorry abt that. but still, thanks for yr help and encouragements...
jiaen : we get to noe each other better only from this year onwards...however, nothing is always too late. i cherished the friendship that we have, and all the fun and laughter we spent together.

haiz... few daes ago, i jus felt very happie
that i have no [dispute]...
but it was getting to prove me wrong...

performing on stage was so fun...
